On September 2015, the Law School, Criminal Law Office at the University of Georgia organized Batumi Summer School on criminal law aspects, where students from different Universities participated. Practicing attorneys trained students on material and procedural issues. German expert was also invited as a trainer. Students were excepted from tuition fees at Batumi Summer School. Recently founded Georgian German and International Criminal Law Institute will continue this tradition. On 13 November 2015, Director of Law School at the University of Georgia Ana Khurcidze and Chair of Institute Bachana Jishkariani awarded summer school participants and trainers with certificates.
