Under the framework of the Volkswagen Foundation ,Doctoral Scholarship Program, which concerns the harmonization of criminal law proceedings, these three PhD applicants have successfully passed interviews and were granted Scholarships: Khatia Tandilashvili ( Tbilisi State University ), Ani Nasrashvili (University of Georgia) and Giorgi Mirianashvili ( University of Georgia) . University of Georgia and Institute of Georgian, German and International Criminal Law is an active partner of this project,-; Professors: Giorgi Tumanishvili and Bachana Jishkariani both coordinate this grant project with their German colleagues. Congratulations to these students ! In additions to the Scholarships, next year ,- The Institute will hold a one week summer school in Batumi , about European criminal law issues Participants will be successful students from various universities. Lectures will be given by leading German, and Georgian professors,- and Lecturers. Selection criteria will be announced later.
