Scholarship for PhD students
 

Under the money donated by Volkswagen foundation, the University of Georgia and Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, faculty of law are announcing contest to get scholarship for PhD students. PhD scholarship is for students, who are on initial stage of their PhD studies and their doctoral research focuses on the process of internationalization of the Georgian criminal law problems (in the context of Council of Europe, the European Union or the International Criminal Court). The scholarship amount is 450 Euros per month. Necessary documents: - CV with photo; - Plan of PhD research with references of job description; - Recommendation of two professors from your field; - Bachelor's and Master's diplomas with transcript of record. - A certificate from the University of Georgia about PhD studies (does not apply to candidates who are planning to transfer to the PhD program in the fall semester); - English or German language certificate, B2 level; - Motivation letter; - Identity card or passport. Applications will be accepted from Fabruary 1 to April 30, 2017 on the following E-mail: [email protected]. The documentation must be submitted in English (or German) languages. PhD students will be selected through two stages: the first stage will be based on the documentation identifying the best applications. After the candidates with the best results will be chosen, they will have an interview with the Georgian-German commission.
