December 7-8, 2019, under the framework of Human Rights Week, the two days workshop, “Human Rights in European Criminal Law “ took place at the University of Georgia, organized by the Institute of Georgian, German and International Criminal Law. The workshop was leaded by the head of the Institute professor Bachana Jishkariani, Khatia Tandilashvili, scholar of Volkswagen Foundation, Nino Kutsia, scholar of Volkswagen Foundation. The workshop referred to European Criminal Law and Human Rights, rights of victims, presumption of innocence, principle of publicity, freedom of the Media and the effects of the European Union.
