A joint project “Criminal Law and Human Rights” of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation and the Institute of Georgian, German and International Criminal Law, was held in Borjomi on 14-16 February 2020. The project discussed the urgent issues of Criminal Law, such as international and European influence on the Georgian Criminal Law, Freedom of Art and the Criminal Law, property and its protection mechanisms in the German Criminal Law, covert investigation activities in the German Criminal Law, drug crimes and personal freedom. The lectures were leaded by the head of the school: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bachana Jishkariani , LL.M. (Munich) and invited lecturers: Martin Wassmer (Cologne, Germany) and Mario Schütze (Jena, Germany). Law students from different universities of Georgia participated in the event.
