In the frames of cooperation of the University of Cologne, Institute of Georgian, German and International Criminal Law and the University of Georgia the German-Georgian Summer School in Criminal Law was held for already the fifth time. The School took place in Cologne, July 17-23, 2023, leaded by Prof. Bachana Jishkariani and Prof. Martin Wassmer. Students of the School of Law of the University of Georgia participated in. The program included lectures on several topics, such as introduction to International Criminal Law, introduction to German Criminal Law, introduction to European Criminal Law, Ecocide - an International Crime, Governing History through Law, Memory Laws and the European Convention of Human Rights. Autumn School also involved cultural program. The excursion was held in Cologne and Aachen. Students visited the Cathedral of Cologne and the historical center of Cologne. Students were awarded certificates of participation.
